Dog Owners Info

We always welcome friendly happy dogs to our home but we are sorry we can not allow them in the breakfast room, or to be left in room unaccompanied except during breakfast.

Nearly all the pubs allow dogs in during food service so you can take them with you if you want to eat there. The beach is also dog friendly but please remember to clean up after them on the beach or in the village.

Early Breakfasts.

We serve breakfast between 9.00am to 9.30am, if you require it earlier we can arrange one for you as we know some guests need any early start. But please respect other guests that are sleeping.

Check In/Out times

Check in  4pm to 7pm      (any earlier or later please call to book a set time with us).

Check out  10.30am        (you may Leave your car on our car park till 12.00pm)

Smoking Policy

All our guest rooms are strictly non smoking but we have an area outside on the front of premises for smokers.

Credit card facilities

We accept all major credit cards, mastercard ,visa ,debit cards, american express.(£1.00 charge per credit card transaction)

There are no cash machines or banks in the village the nearest ones are found in Whitby 7 miles away. But our Local post office and store will do cash back.

Other Info

The village has lots of little shops, pubs, cafes, a few restaurants, muesum, small cinema, old coastguard station info centre, churches, doctors surgery, village hall, bowling green, tennis courts, a golf course at Ravenscar. And a wonderful beach to explore.  Any recommendations for places to eat or visit please dont hesitate to call or ask Louise or Trevor.
